Grocery Sales Week of March 9, 2009

Q: I remember seeing _________ in an ad, but I don't remember which one.  How do I find it without pouring through all the ads?
A: http://mygrocerydeals.com/  This website was just brought to my attention a few weeks ago.  It looks like a great resource for answering the above question, or just "where is milk on sale this week?" (the answer is nowhere in their database).  You will have to sign up for a free membership to get access to the data.

Scholastic Book Sale -- I almost missed this one....
March 10th-13th at their warehouse in West Chester near Lakota West High School
see their website for more info....

Don't get the Sunday Paper?  Local stores take internet coupons printed from:
www.coupons.com
www.smartsource.com
www.coolsavings.com
Each website requires you to install a "plug-in" to your web browser.  This helps them keep track of what coupons you've printed and help to minimize fraud.  Most coupons can be printed twice.   Each coupon is individually coded so don't try to skirt the system and make photo copies.  Also, save your ink and print in black/white.  I set my printer to default to b/w.  This saves a lot of money on ink.  Also these coupons have been changing on the first of the month.

If you've got a baby in diapers, check out coupons.com for high value Huggies coupons.

You have milk listed for $1.89 at Aldi...sounds like a sale to me.
Also, it's only $1.99 on Jungle Jim's and $2.09 at Target. Maybe that website isn't so great if it isn't pulling up any sales for milk this week. They are around.

Good point. Sometimes technology isn't as good as actual eyes.
